PATRIOTISM MEANS DOING WHAT’S RIGHT FOR OUR COUNTRY.

At its heart, America is of the people, by the people, and for the people. Our country is bigger than any one person, or any political party. We are a country of ideals and ideas, of democracy and of freedom. And patriotism means protecting those American values.

Veterans of our armed forces know what it means to risk everything to fight for our country. They know what it’s like to put their lives on the line for the things they believe. They know what it’s like to defend American democracy, and they’re prepared to do it again. This president’s actions have put our national security and our democracy at risk, and that’s not something to be taken lightly. Veterans swore an oath to protect and defend the Constitution, just like our members of Congress. They did their job, now it’s time for Congress to do theirs.
